Fred and Carma Kostenbauer started cutting and hauling the logs by hand in 1954 and started the construction of the alleys in 1955, opening Sept 1, 1956.
For some reason, the initial address was 90 Cedar Street, becoming 93 Cedar Street at some point. In 1974, the bowling alley was sold to Fred's son, Ron Kostenbauer, who remodeled the place and ran it with his wife Bonnie. In 1986, the alleys were sold to Fred's daughter Marilyn Green and her husband Bart. By 1990, the alleys were owned by Zachary Armstrong, who remodeled the place further and installed automatic scorers in 2004. |
