Frank Seney and Sam Rosenthal purchases the John Keahey property and establishes the Buffalo Town Hall, Inc. bowling alley in 1940.
Samuel Rosenthal was the president and Frank S Seney was the secretary of the lanes per the 1941-42 Ives Business Directory. Sam Rosenthal, in an oral history, claims the place had four regulation alleys, three duck pin alleys, pool tables, snooker tables, roller skating rink and a little restaurant. World War II forced the closure of the establishment in 1943. |
